The Universal Character Of A Blogging Program
September 13th, 2009
Each day blogs are made by all types of individuals, but teenage writers are the most progressive in the craze. Today’s teens are the 1st generation of individuals to have grown up using the internet at every stage of their developing. As a result, numerous adolescents have an virtually established sense of how to use the World Wide Web as a platform for expressing their most private ideas and thoughts.
A blog is perhaps the best content management systeem around. A blog can be handled by people of all ages. A blog is perfect to express personal feelings but can also be used as company website.
Older writers on the other hand often experience a kind of learning curve when they begin to blog. Yet, most young individuals have stated that blogging software allows them more comfort and communicating than a diary could ever.
Blogs can provide both high visibility and secrecy, which makes them especially appealing to teens. For a teenager, they can invite her friends and peers to read their blog through email and thus gaining attention and often even praise. Of course, with visibility generally comes the possibility of embarrassment, but the fact that it is possible to weblog anonymously with an contrived handle or moniker negates a lot of the chance for humiliation. Since bloggers are able to publish their content under a pseudonym, they are able to write all about their secrets without worrying about being discovered by a parent or guardian.
With the one exception of blogging, teenage authors have little opportunity to be publicized. Established authors having more experience and credits are desired by magazines and journals. This can discourage adolescents from writing or from seeking prospects to publish their work. By blogging, young people can begin to gain a following of readers without 1st having to win the attention and support of an editor in chief or publisher who may not be very interested in young authors.
In case you can’t create a blog yourself, you can get help from Website Laten Maken.

March 1st, 2009

To start with, you should make sure your article addresses are SEO optimized. With free blogs like BlogSpot, this is automatically done for you. WordPress blogs need a little work. If you use the WordPress blogging platform, then you’ll need to set your url structure so that WordPress will produce optimized url’s when you create a blog entry.

The best tip to optimizing your blog is to put your main keyword in the Title. Let’s say you’re blogging about ways to earn extra cash, then make sure these keywords are in the Title of your blog. Don’t put something like Johns Blog. By using the keywords in the Title, then you’ll rank higher than if you name it Johns Blog.
The next requirement is to write your keywords in the Post’s title. If you’re trying to lure people to click on your post about using Ebay to to make a living online, then put the keywords in the post title. Forget about using non relevant titles like How I Make Money With Auctions. If you do this, the search engines will have trouble determining what your post is about and the search engine traffic you need won’t appear. This is especially important if you’re trying to make money with Adsense.
If you’ll use these 3 easy to follow tips, you will be helping the Search Engines determine what your post and blog are about. By taking a little extra time and making it easy for them to determine what your post and blog are about, they’ll rank you higher than a non-optimized blog.
Building links to each of your optimized post is the last step in dominating the search engine rankings with your blog post. Ahh, but link building is a whole nother article that has to be saved for later. First, get acquainted optimizing your own blog and blog post.

Pro Adsense Tips To Create Bigger Paydays
January 22nd, 2009
Just here recently, Google Adsense was the darling of the Internet Marketing World. Noobs jumped on board the Adsense bandwagon thinking they would make money online fast and be holding up 100k checks like Shoemoney. Then, after a few weeks getting paid just peanuts for their clicks, they then become discouraged and screamed to anyone who will listen that Adsense doesn’t work.
The truth is, there are a lot of us who are ending up with great paydays with Google Adsense. Making money with Adsense requires a little more than just throwing up a blog, scraping content and adding your Adsense code. In a Nutshell, Adsense is still one of the easy ways to make money online. Here’s some advanced tips that will help increase your check from Google.
For starters, take a long hard look at the site where you have your ads. Is your site targeted to one niche? I find it really humurous sometimes when so called Internet Marketer say you can’t make any money with Adsense. I usually check out their site and see that it isn’t optimized for any keyword that advertisers would be bidding on. Or, what advertisers that are bidding are bidding a nickel per hit. The lack of a focused website is one of the biggest reasons Webmasters don’t make money with the Google Adsense program.
For Adsense to give you the highest paying ads, your site has to be very targeted to a keyword. For example, if you have articles on your site discussing everything from how green the grass is today to how sloppy your kids teacher dressed, Adsense isn’t going to give you the high paying keywords. What’s more, the ones you do get probably won’t be targeted to your audience because the Adsense bot is having an impossible time trying to make a decision as to what your web site is about.
Okay, pay close attention here. Let’s say your website is about Chicken Wings. You have no articles on your site other than those about Chicken Wings. You have articles about Hot Wings, Barbecue Chicken Wings, Wing Sauce Recipes, How to cook Chicken Wings, etc. Now if you’ve done your on-page SEO properly, the Adsense bot will know that you site is all about Chicken Wings. If an advertiser is paying $2.00 per click to advertise their Chicken Wing product, your site will get that high paying ad. And what’s more, your visitors will likely click on that high paying ad because they are on your site looking for stuff pertaining to Chicken Wings when they see an add for something to do with Chicken Wings, which in turns gives you an excellent paying click.
Still yet, another humorous statemetn is when a noob says he’s getting a steady stream of traffic from Stumble Upon or Digg, but he isn’t getting any clicks? It’s no secret to most of us that Social Traffic doesnt convert. Traffic from Social Sites are just reading about crap while they should be working. They don’t click ads people!
Search Engine traffic is what drives clicks to Adsense. If your website is niche focused and you have your site ranking well for its keywords, then when organic traffic from Google arrives, they’ll be clicking ads. They’re searching for information and they found it on your site. Your site has a bunch of Adsense ads about what they’re looking for. They want information and they want it now. They will click those ads!
Another trick is to have some vague or long drawn out post. If someone is looking for a recipe on Chicken Wings with Cheese Fritters and you have an article by the same name, they’ll be reading that article. But if that article is really long and boring and says very little about Chicken Wings with Cheese Fritters, they’ll get bored and start looking around your site. That’s when they’ll see an Adsense block with an ad for a sure fire, can’t miss Chicken Wing with Cheese Fritter recipe and click on it. You don’t want to solve their problems, you want them to see an ad that they believe will solve their problem so they will click on it!
That’s it for now. I’ll let you think about what I just said. Meanwhile, go look at your site and see where you can improve it. Get it focused on one niche. Don’t try to cover many niches with your website because you’ll end up with those five cent clicks!

A Brief Review of Internet Regulation Trends
January 9th, 2009
In mid-2008, Rasmussen conducted a poll to find out how Americans felt about Internet regulation. Almost half said that they thought the government should regulate the Internet in much the same way that it regulates television and radio.
This trend toward government regulation of the Internet is apparently due to fears about child pornography and other tasteless websites being available for children to view, as well as social networking abuse by predatory adults.
A Glance at Censorship.
Censorship of Internet content is on the rise, and it is not just limited to communist China anymore. By way of example, in the UK, a page within Wikipedia (and in some instances, the entire Wikipedia site) was blocked from UK web viewers because someone filed a complaint with the IWF, a quasi-governmental agency. Because the offending content was an image of an album cover, there was the possibility that Amazon’s US auction and shopping content would be blocked from UK viewers.
Within the censorship arena is the increasing volume of complaints from politicians who feel that blogs are not correctly reporting the facts about their campaigns or other political news. Add to this mix the journalists and mainstream media who are seeing online content take a bite out of their readership and sales. While Internet news publishing is not currently regulated in the US, it would not be surprising if politicians begin to talk about journalism requirements or some form of authority rank for blog owners and other online reporters.
Filtering on a National Scale.
If it passes Parliament, Australia’s ‘great firewal’ may become the most obtrusive form of government control of the Internet in a democratized country. Ostensibly for filtering out child pornography, the firewall has sparked intense debate, including free speech arguments. Reportedly, the government will ban at least 1300 websites. A problem is the lack of transparency or right to dispute a ban because the government has not disclosed the urls of the sites that will be on the banned list. Although the filter is not completely accurate and its effectiveness is therefore questionable, it slows down Internet speeds by up to 86%.
Internet Taxes.
On a federal level in the United States, there have been rumors about Internet taxation for many years but nothing has come of it. A federal Internet sales tax does not hold a lot of appeal for many Americans. However, state governments are eyeing the Internet as a source of much-needed revenue. For instance, the state of New York has imposed a tough state sales tax law that would make non-resident vendors responsible for reporting taxes on sales to New York residents. Amazon, which has affiliates all over the world, has sued, and as of this writing, a decision has not been rendered. Watch for Internet taxation to become an issue in upcoming years.
Licensing and Disclosures.
There has been talk by some legislators that people should be licensed to use the Internet. Their reasoning is that is someone is required to have a license to drive a car on our nation’s highways, then it is not unreasonable to expect a person to get a license to surf the Internet’s information highway. To get a license, users would have to pass a test on basic Internet and computer knowledge, such as how to use email, how to run an anti-virus program and so on. While it is unlikely that this idea will gain traction, it is not unreasonable to speculate that content writers will need to follow licensing and disclosure requirements for their web publications. Regulatory accountability is not a far-fetched idea, particularly if one views copyright suits, politicians complaining about the accuracy of news and blogs, and stringent regulation of medical claims with respect to health products. For instance, the new Internet regulations in Canada (if passed in February 2009) will address Canadian content and copyright issues and might impose a ranking system on websites that is similar to movie ranking systems. Given Americans’ desire to see Internet regulation that is similar to radio and television regulation, the logical conclusion is that Internet publishers would need to register with whatever agency regulates online publication.
Conclusion.
The above examples provide a glimpse into what the future may hold when it comes to Internet regulation. Given the increasing public opinion that the Internet should be regulated, it is likely that we Internet publishers will see an increasing amount of regulatory proposals that may affect us.
One thing that web publishers can do, right now, to start to protect themselves is to include a legally sound privacy policy statement on their websites. Learn how to write a good privacy statement and policies page at the Not Guru blog.
From time to time, Internet regulation and trends are reviewed here: Internet Regulation articles at the NotGuru blog.

Internet Marketing Easy Advertising
December 5th, 2008
How much do you know about Internet Marketing?Or, a better question may be how much does anyone really know about this thing called internet marketing, e-marketing or web marketing? And then there’s the question of what really does work and what doesn’t work while marketing your business on the internet. And a greater concern may be that what works today, may no longer work tomorrow.
All we are trying to do, is expose as many people as possible to our products or services online, on the Internet. This in itself is a very unique way to advertise, being it is one of the cheapest ways to distribute information to a vast audience. And the instant response you can get is a great benefit to this interactive marketing process.
To the average person, we are nothing more than a website on the other end of a Goggle search. But internet marketing is much more than that.It blends together the technical and creative aspects of the internet with developement, sales, design, stratagy and advertising. Web marketing is much more than a generic website, a pop-up or banner ad, added to your site.It takes focus on your target market, with a thought out plan in place to promote your business in a way that will create excitement, and offer people what they are looking for, and more.
A huge part of internet marketing success will depend on your ability to learn and use search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), e-mail marketing, video marketing, blogging and other Web 2.0 strategies. You are given the chance to place your marketing emphasis on a specific interest group, rather than spend your time advertising blindly to a vast majority that really have little to no interest in your product. You have the option to market to a particular gender, race, age, interest group, geography, etc.
A good web marketing expert like yourself, never stops learning. You have to understand what has worked in the past, what is working for you now, and what’s about to work even better tomorrow. You need to be willing to try something new, and willing to fail, and then be ready for success when your internet marketing skills start to connect with your target audience.
Learn about an exciting way to market your new business online.A system proven to work!
