Increase targeted website traffic to your web site
May 10th, 2009
Grasping the attention of an online surfer is challenging enough, so you want to turn as many viewers as possible into actual buyers. And you want to entice buyers to become repeat buyers.
Once you’ve told the product story, how do you get them to push that “buy button” again? Here are some traffic conversion hot buttons to add to your site today:
1. Expose your competition’s warts. You can expect popular products to attract competitors. Study the competition and find the weaknesses or differences that you can take advantage of. Do you deliver faster or offer discount shipping, give choice of downloads or CDs, gift wrap, ship internationally? Let buyers know what sets you apart from your competitors.
2. Go ahead - name drop! Find a celebrity to endorse your product. Its not necessary that he or she should be a movie star, just people who are known and respected in your market sector. Send your product out to niche superstars and ask for their fair review as well as permission to use the comments on your website. You benefit for the star power of the guaranters.
3.Demonstrate it! Find research that advances your product in the marketplace. Even a basic study that shows “7 out of 10 people who regularly exercise are less likely to get prickly heat,” might be linked loosely to your product. Make the connection reasonable. If there isn’t any research, make your own by using results from an online survey or poll.
4. Test yourself. Create three different pitches that play on your main product. Use each page for 10 days. At the end of the month, analyze results. The pitch that attract the most buyers isn’t always the one you like the most. Remember, it’s about what clicks with the buyer - even if it isn’t your favorite.
5. Befriend to win. Make sure that your sales copy develops a connection with your buyer. You can make money with straight sales copy but you’ll make more money when you build a relationship with buyers.
Let them into your life enough that they care about you and they will be more willing to invest in your products. You can set up a forum to discuss your niche interest or add small reviews from your clients.
Feature a buyer with a photo and candid interview. When you give buyers reasons to drop by regularly, then you are developing a relationship. It is very obvious to say that, your “special offer” email gets read when others are sent to the trash folder.

Helping You Increase Website Traffic
May 6th, 2009
To increase website traffic, you need more than a pretty site with flashy graphics and great content - you need a plan to target the right audience and make your internet presence known. Hits aren’t enough these days, and making sure you have quality traffic driving to your website is important. In addition to quality traffic arriving at your site, you want visitors to do more than take a quick look. They need to be interested enough to browse your site, stay a while, and come back again.
The way to increase website traffic that will work best for your site is to use a two-prong approach. First, you have to appeal to the search engines. If the search engines don’t know about your site, the people who would want to visit your site won’t know about it. In order to get the search engines’ attention, you have to use keywords, and use them well. One way to do that is to place them in the title of your website, and in the titles of your pages or posts. Keyword usage is a great tool to improve your search engine rankings. Other things like updating your site often help as well.
Many people stop there. They think that if they can just put enough spider bait in their sites, they will increase website traffic to the point of making the site successful. Some even use less-than-ethical techniques like burying keywords outside the website and clustering keywords in the site, creating text that isn’t pleasant to read and sometimes doesn’t make a lot of sense. Search engine spiders are getting wise to that sort of thing and penalizing websites, but that type of tactic also tends to turn actual human beings away as well. What you need to do to get more quality traffic to your site is to make sure that once people come they will enjoy what they find.
That means you need to focus your content, make sure it is good content, and make sure the content is what it says it is. Nothing turns off a potential customer or reader like false advertising or the old bait-and-switch routine. Don’t lure someone to your site with promises of tutorials only to show them a site that is 10-percent tutorials and 90-percent advertisement for your book. If the site is about your book, state up front that it’s about your book. Nothing will increase website traffic like good content that is focused and delivers what is promised.
You can always buy traffic to increase website traffic to your site. There are no guarantees that the traffic will be quality traffic, so if your revenues or goals depend on repeat visits or customer loyalty, you may want to avoid buying traffic and spend your money on other traffic-building strategies. However, if your revenues depend on click-throughs of third-party advertising, buying traffic may be a good option for your needs.

How to get website traffic

Linking
Link popularity is simply the total number of web pages that link to your web page. Link popularity is an extremely important factor that is used by most of the major search engines to rank web pages and web sites.
You won’t have to worry about increasing exposure and links to your pages. You will not have a good position or ranking in the search engines. You should consider submitting feeds or sites to blog directories with a high PR to make sure you are getting quality incoming links. You should also not ignore submitting to sites with low PR in the later stages. Then you would have your links that redirect to your product or services in your newsletter.
Viral Marketing
Viral marketing can be described as an website promotion strategy that works in the same way as a virus. Information about your company is spread from one person or location to another through a number of legitimate and highly effective promotion techniques. Viral marketing using web 2.0 is really quite real and that it is and that it is picking up and getting. I’m looking forward to what happens next! Viral marketing has been around for a very long time. Getting the message out through word of mouth used to be the worlds first form.
SEO
The keywords and description meta tags need to be precise and relevant to the website and site navigation should be simple with each page of the website appropriately linked to others. The SEO process when performed well in place will have non stop sales opportunities for the business. Having more traffic to your site increases the chances of getting more sales.
Conversions
Most online marketers are using Website conversions (sales, registrations) to gauge the effectiveness of their Web media campaigns. However some of these marketers are undercounting the complete conversions that sum up the results to those campaigns. Visibility is also key to website conversions (generating leads, sales, subscribers, etc.). With everything else being equal, a greater number of web visitors will lead to a greater number of leads and sales.
Web 2.0
Web 2.0 is an idea in people’s heads rather than a reality. People shouldn’t feel, O my God I’ve got to upgrade, how I upgrade to Web 2.0. There is both advance and material in today’s web 2.0. YouTube, MySpace, Digg, Delicious, Wikis, etc.
Tag and Ping
Technorati, Furl, del.icio.us, squidoo, digg, are just some of the sites where you will be able to bookmark or post for updating. You are informed to visit the specific sites and then click the tag, so the search engines know of the update. Alot of the social bookmarking sites like delicious or orkut, have the use of tag clouds which break out each article and seperate it into different categories. Applying keywords in your articles like “website traffic” or “internet marketing” for example will get your article or submission in both.
Video Marketing
Home video marketing for small business is an effective, inexpensive option for any advertising budget. Second, video marketing will get search engine attention. Every day the video sites get crawled by the search engines. Online videos and video promotions are here forever, it is the future of online advertising. As the bigger compainies like TV and movie makers are now using his medium, it makes sense to join the. There is nothing out there that I know that can provide a turnkey video marketing that can end up dominating the SERPS.
News Groups
The first problem with newsgroups is spam - there is a lot of it. However, newsgroups are still used by a large portion of the public that is looking for specific topics of discussion. There is only a small amount of newsgroups that are moderated. That means that messages submitted by readers are not distributed to Usenet, but instead are emailed to the moderators of the newsgroup, for approval.
Directories
So? You’ve made a site on the bases of an Affiliate Program, now don’t forget to add your game site to the catalogues. Another term for catalogues is “directories”. It is another way to market your product, affiliate programs, displaying Adsense or any other advertising you might have. Getting your website to the first page of google can be easier than you think.
The Solution
Now I guess your wondering where are the other 17 strategies for getting free traffic? Well there are too many to list in this article, but you can get all 26 traffic tactics and put them to use with a cutting edge software, that will save you tons of time and catapult your website to the top of the search engines, plus driving massive amounts of traffic to your business.

Top 7 Ways to Make Your Link Bait Page Explode With Viral Traffic
March 20th, 2009
The use of link bait pages have become a very common tactic by bloggers as a means to increase their traffic. It is a very effective method, however it is not the only method and there a few that can provide immediate traffic results and also consistently increase over time. Using the link baiting technique, you can drive traffic to your site without necessarily making use of reciprocal links or even advertising. Link baiting is all about building an interest in something and driving those seeking information on it to your site instead of you trying to seek out people to come. The 7 best things you can do to generate loads of interest on your sites to drive traffic are:
1. Writing Fantastic Content
If you create consistently great content, you will earn the respect of your peers, and they will link to you. If they like your writing and find it interesting, they will come back consistently so see what else you have to say.
This, however, can take time to build. There are other, faster ways to get viral traffic to your site now. Always maintain the quality of your content; it will provide you with consistent and increasing traffic if you’re good. For an instant traffic boost, try these additional hooks:
2. Becoming A Source Of News
The newspapers have done it for decades; if you have a breaking scoop in your lap you can use it to drive insane amounts of traffic. The news hook method of driving traffic works better than pretty much any link baiting method. Having exclusive information in your hands before anyone else is literally gold and if you are able to publish this, you’ll have a huge traffic rush to your page. One way you can drive traffic to your site is to have new information or a fresh angle on an existing big story.
3. Contrary
Take a subject within your niche, and disagree with the established stance. It helps if you actually do disagree with it. Pick an argument different to everyone else, and be prepared to defend it. You may have to spend a lot of time replying to comments and defending yourself, but it will most definitely generate a large amount of traffic very quickly.
4. Attack
Much more adversarial than the contrary method, this hook lays down a direct attack on an already established norm or view. This is sometimes hard to do properly, but remember never to attack a person or establishment directly, instead attack the view or perception instead. Doing the former could lead to a huge backlash against you. While this has the makings of potentially huge traffic, I would warn you that using this as a link baiting method should not be done unless you are totally convinced of your position and actually have solid and credible data to back you up should a backlash against you happen. *Warning - not for the light of heart*
5. Capitalizing On Humor
We all know how fast humor can make its way around the web. If you’ve got something funny, and hopefully unique, your traffic will increase and people share it with each other. As link bait, the humor hook is almost too easy; people never seem to tire of them. Use it to your advantage to increase traffic to your pages.
6. Giveaway
If you’ve got something valuable to giveaway, people will find you. It doesn’t have to be something that costs you money, but if you’ve got a free font or some open share software as link bait that’s available for download on your site, you’ve got guaranteed traffic.
7. Becoming A Resource
Why do people use search engines in the first place? The need information, plain and simple, and if you make your link bait into a vast repository of information people are looking for then you will undoubtedly get a stream or traffic pretty much instantly. What resources you use provide on your link bait page can be anything, it can be a list of all the children’s cartoons of the 80’s or a list of the coupon codes, anything really. Just ensure that the resource you are using as link bait is relevant to your niche or to what you are promoting.
In the end, you have a number of fantastic ways that you can use to make your link bait pages become a great traffic magnet. The best way is of course a combination all of the above, and learning that can take a long time…but it doesn’t have to, if you have the resources and the training that capitalizes on these methods. Portal Feeder is one such source, and if you are interested to master these methods then it would be worthwhile checking it out.

Helping You Get Free Search Engine Traffic
March 16th, 2009
If you are like just about every other webmaster out there, you are looking for ways to get more traffic and better quality traffic to visit your website, and one of the most fundamental ways to achieve that is through free search engine traffic.
Search engines that are spider-based, or crawler-based, automatically visit the various pages of a web site in order to compile their index listings. These kinds of search engines differ from directories, because by means of the crawling, you are likely to have a number of your pages indexed with them.
If you build your site and individual pages and craft them with search engine optimization in the forefront of your mind, you can, over time, end up being highly ranked in the free search engine indexes. Taking this approach, and being patient to see the results while always working to improve the optimization, you might find your site in the top ten listings, which puts your site on the first page of search results.
The fact is that very few surfers will ever see a site that is not listed within the first page of the results in the top search engines. That is why it is so important to make sure that your pages are optimized so that you have a chance of getting included in that first page, which will give you plenty of free search engine traffic, of course depending on the popularity of the search term you are ranking for.
There is no doubt that in the internet world today, that the most important spider-based search engine is Google. More people search via Google than the number of people who search the other search engines combined, meaning that more than one out of every two people who are looking for something online will be using Google to find it.
So, it’s a good strategy to optimize your pages for Google, and that in turn will result in sufficient optimization for the other top search engines for the most part. In addition, the Google search engine also is the generator that powers the listed results for a number of other services as well.
The best way to get a listing with Google, and get that free search engine traffic you need, is to get you site linked on other website. These are called inbound links when they are found on another site and point to yours, and because the crawler-based engines follow links from one site to another, this is why it is so beneficial to have links from other sites to yours.
However, just having a few links to your site is not enough in and of itself. You will get a better boost in your page ranking if the links to your site come from other quality sites with good page rank of their own.
And, one simple way to begin to get links to your site is with free search engine submission. This will essentially get your “foot in the door” by getting your site listed with various directories, which will in turn direct the spiders to your page for indexing on Google and the other search engines.
Even though that can give you a very nice start, you need to continue your efforts by always adding find good links back to your site and by adding quality content that is relevant to your topic. By continuing these efforts you will continue to find an increase in the free search engine traffic you enjoy.

How To Increase Your Web Site Traffic
March 8th, 2009
Free web site traffic is there for the taking, and there are many ways to achieve that goal. To increase traffic, a webmaster must know how to lure visitors to a site. However, there are different ways — that aren’t free — to increase site traffic, and these can be good options if you haven’t achieved your minimum expectations.
If free web site traffic is letting you down, you can always simply buy traffic. It’s an amazing thing — to think that people have actually built businesses around getting traffic to other people’s web sites — but businesses that offer just that service are popping up all over the place. Just think of it like this: Marketing experts must have seemed like strange beasts to the first business owners who encountered them, but they make their clients millions of dollars annually — on business they would not have otherwise enjoyed.
People who buy traffic, as opposed to depending entirely on free web site traffic, are often people who have third-party ads on their sites. If they make their money at least partly by ad clicks, then this endeavor may be a good deal — not to mention that it ups their page view counts. Whether you think this is appropriate for your particular site is up to you, but you can buy traffic if you so desire.
Traffic Builder is a web-based software package that you can use to automate various aspects of increasing free web site traffic. This service will: scan your pages, automatically submit your sites to various search engines, monitor your keywords on a daily basis and do a lot of work that you would otherwise have to carry out yourself.
Even if you take this route for attracting free web site traffic, and even if you decide to buy traffic on top of that — you must not forget to go out there and hustle your site to viewers through link and banner exchanges. Research the best methods of letting people know your site exists, as well. For instance, it is much better to embed your links naturally throughout the text than to simply have nothing but a list of links. But most importantly, you cannot forget the # 1 rule for increasing web site traffic: offer great content. It will do absolutely no good to get web site traffic — if you can’t keep that web site traffic on your site, where it belongs.

How I Use Free Advertising Sites to Get Traffic
March 1st, 2009
Ok, so I feel a little silly using these free advertising forum sites. But the truth is I’ve found that they actually do bring consistent traffic and sometimes even a few sales.
Many of these free online advertising sites get tons of traffic. So if you get in the habit of posting to them regularly, you ads will certainly at least get seen, and you just might be a little shocked at the results.
Other than writing killer ad copy, there are no big secrets to making it work, but here are a few little tricks I use to maxmize my results:
First of all, if the forum allows it, I always make a “mega-thread.” This just means that I make a thread with one of my ads in it, and then I keep coming back and replying to that same thread over and over again with the same ad or a similar one. This automatically sends it to the top of the forum which is where you ads really get seen. On top of that, this type of thread will amass the most views and contain the most replies as compared with the plain old regular threads. It then has the appearance of great popularity.
Another thing I do is always give my own threads a five-star rating which provides instant credibility.
And lastly, I also reply to popular threads that others have posted using my own ads and gaining even more exposure.
I find that the only thing that it takes to be successful when posting to free advertising forums, is to come up with good ad copy and the just keep attacking the forums, posting my ads again and again whenever time permits. There is automatic forum posting software that makes it breeze too. Otherwise it can be a little boring and tedious. However, if you don’t want to use software to post ads, you can used tabs in your browser and keeps a bunch of tabs open with all of your forums.
I also post to the free classfieds sites along with the free ads forums that I post to. Again a few of these classifieds sites also have big traffic. They might as well be looking at your advertisement.
There’s something else to consider here too. These sites actually do count for having backlinks as far as the search engines go. These are not necessarily the most high-value links you can get of course, but they sure beat having no backlinks when your site is new or you are just getting started. The bigger ones seem to get spidered constantly. So using anchors with good keywords for your links can’t hurt a bit.
One final thing to think about: Though I’ve never tried it myself, I’ve often that if you get some profitable tactics going with the free ad sites and get a little system down, you could then outsource the posting and really dominate these sites. There’s no shortage of low-cost virtual assistants and freelancers eager to this type of thing. Food for thought anyway.

Article Marketing Automation – Your SEO Power Tool
February 11th, 2009
If you are trying to make money online, you may be struggling to achive the results you need. Article Marketing Automation is built up by members or a network of bloggers, submitting their articles. Articles are posted on niche related blogs within the system. It is the most Cost and time effective way to build traffic, authority and relevant links, in a short time frame. It’s also the easiest way to climb the rankings by a mile.
Article Marketing Automation is a subset of the PLR Pro network. It consists, as mentioned before, of a network of blogs that content is posted to. Adding a blog to the network, you just pick the categories of articles you want to receive. Any blog that can receive posts via remote publishing API, such as WordPress,
If you become a paid member it gives you the capability to post relevant on theme content to sites that are within your industry/market (as well as be able to add your sites in to the network). So whether you are looking to just build content to your site, or you are looking to promote your site through the network, there is a solution for you.
Normally, when you finish an article, you submit it to an article directory for approval. That could take quite some time. When you submit the article in different versions (manually spun or rewritten) then you will either need to pay someone to submit it to 100,200 or even 300 article directories or you will need some sort of software.
ArticleMarketingAutomation is different. AMA consists of a network of over 2000 sites and that number is climbing. When you submit an article it’s immediately in the network. You simply decide where to place the links in the content, and then you can spin the articles, but spinning an article is quite simple. That means that you can have hundreds of one way quality links pointing to your page. You can benefit by adding 3 links to each article and place it where you like. This way you can have natural looking articles published.
I look forwart to the future of article marketing, using the AMA automatinon that will increase my google page rankings. Smart website owners depend on article marketing in order to acquiring back links. They send out articles to a huge bunch of article directories. When you have subitted an article into the network the links appears in a more natural way.
Article Marketing Automation allows 3 links embedded into the body of each article you submit rather than in a signature box at the bottom of the article.
Article Marketing 2.0 - Don’t Get Left Behind.

7 Proven Traffic Tips
January 21st, 2009
Using Tutorials to drive traffic
Creating tutorials for popular software such as Adobe Photoshop is an easy way to drive traffic. Where should your tutorials for Adobe Photoshop be submitted.
Using Stumbleupon to drive traffic
Signing up is fast and easy, and its free. It will bring a bit of traffic, but not a lot. It will however help to bring in new visitors, and the benefit of getting visitors from Stumbleupon is that people who are “stumbling” are interested in finding new content, and unless your site design is totally hopeless, most “stumblers” will hang around for a minute or two, trying to discover what exactly your homepage is about.
Using RSS feeds to drive traffic
A classic approach has always been to publish your RSS to drive traffic, but there are created thousands of new blogs each day, and your content will immediately disappear in the mass of information published. Submit to them all, and remember to lower your expectations of traffic directly from this.
Using niche sites to drive traffic
Posting to specific sites containing your topic will increase traffic, for a while. Several sites have the option where you can submit news items to their front page, but mostly people would complain if you are simply self-promoting without your information being particular new or interesting. www.stylegala.com drove a lot of traffic to my site early on, but their policies changed, so I stopped posting to that homepage.
Using Digg to drive traffic
A common known effect of Digg is known as the Digg Effect (also known as the Slashdot effect). This is what happens if a particular site is submitted to Digg, Slashdot or Fark or any similar type of site, and receive so much traffic their server simply gives up. This seldom happens, but the effect cannot be underestimated. You will receive a least a little amount of visitors if your submission is at least a little bit interesting, and you will also gain a backlink to your homepage.
Using forums /BBS’s to drive traffic
A quick way to drive traffic to your homepage is to become engaged in various forums regarding your specific niche. Do a search on Google for your particular area in which your homepage refers to, and become a member of the first 10 forums you encounter. Here you sign up and create a signature for every post you make, with a nice description and link back your homepage. Do not simply comment on everything just to get a link to your homepage.
A lot of forum links can help your rankings very quickly unless they have added rel=nofollow to external links. They share their high PR with all other external links, and the benefits from a SEO perspective might be limited, but the traffic driven will be very targeted and relevant and should convert a lot better.
Using link directories to drive traffic
Now, this is not in any way a new nor novel idea to drive traffic. In fact, it propably wont bring you traffic at all, except for the occasional search from a search engine. Finding a list of link directories and then start submitting can take some time, but every link counts in the fight for the coveted top #1 position.
