Why You Must Create Web Content That Meets Your Objectives
January 3rd, 2010
Web content refers to any kind of digital files that can be published on the Internet. It includes text files, video, images, graphics, and sound. Web content is not only about text; creating web content that works is a complex process that involves using surveys, links, SEO techniques, search boxes, embedded forms, subscription services, etc.
For developing a powerful web strategy is necessary to use CRP. CRP is an essential document used in project management, which has the role to organize and manage everything related to web content, including graphics, web design, analysis and more. What are the basic concepts of CRP?
The first step is to establish objectives for your website. Are you thinking about creating an online store? Or you just want to provide useful information and services? Your objectives must be clear and accurate.
Learn more about the targeted audience, in order to meet the expectations of your clients. What are the needs of your visitors? How do they live? What is their job?
Think about the functionality of your website. Keep in mind that it must be easy to use, organized and informative. Create relevant content and establish some quality standards. You must earn the loyalty of your customers, in order to have a successful online business.
Make an assessment of your content. Focus on objectives and specify the type of each objective, characteristics and an accurate description. Think about who will perform the tasks related to various aspects of the website.
Web content development involves technical data analysis, content functionality and web design. This process consists of six methodologies and six elements, which must be adjusted to the particularities of the online environment and individual experiences.
Most people don’t read web pages entirely; therefore, you must choose relevant keywords for your activity. Underline anything that is relevant and opt for practical solutions. Use bullet lists and highlight the most important expression and phrases.
You can create a credible website by providing information from external sources (quotes, references), especially if you place links to those documents. Even if people don’t click on these links, you’ll manage to increase the credibility of your material. Show that there are real people who work on your website. For example, some websites present biographies and qualifications of employees.
Use quality content and update the website on a regular basis. Your visitors must enjoy reading a web page. Provide unique content, in order to generate word-of-mouth advertising.
Use a friendly tone and provide valuable content. The information is aimed to help your visitors, keeping them interested in your website. Creating web content must be done from a unique perspective, in a neutral or personal style. Your website success depends only on you.
You will want people to be able to find the quality content on your site. Build your traffic by gathering external links using article marketing strategies.

The Importance Of Tracking Your Statistics In Web Advertising
November 23rd, 2009
When I first began marketing online I was attracted to the immediacy of paid advertising such as Google AdWords and banner adverts. The benefits were obvious at first glance. I could get a large amount of traffic to my websites without putting in work writing articles or working on search engine optimization. Fairly early on though it became clear that it was much more difficult than simply putting up an ad. See more at internet business ideas.
Knowing your statistics enables you to do so much and you should always be tracking things even if you are using free traffic sources. The great thing about modern day marketing is that it is now possible to track almost everything in huge detail and make immediate responses. When adverts were taken out in newspapers or leaflets delivered door-to-door it would take time to gauge a reaction. Now though, it is possible to track where your traffic is coming from, which adverts are profitable, how many people are clicking your links, and all of this down to the very keyword they first typed in. Check out internet business ideas.
If you have a website you should check your web stats to see which keywords people are finding you with. Most times you will see keyword phrases that are very loosely related to your target term. When you have this information you can then optimize for it and gain even more traffic.
If you are paying for advertising you can very easily set up performance tracking to manage your statistics. You should check your results every day to begin with and drop the under-performing ads and keywords after a few hundred clicks. This enables you to build yourself a successful campaign where the results constantly improve. You will regularly find that implementing small changes can bring about big results so you should always look to track changes. Check out marketing tips for beginners.

Shared Web Hosting and its Downsides
November 7th, 2009
All people that have their own website will want it to be not only well managed, but stable as well. But bearing this in mind, the one overriding factor that everybody goes through when wanting to get their sites hosted is the cost involved. Not everybody has sufficient funding in place to pay for not only a web design team, but proper hosting as well.
Cost therefore, plays a crucial role as many people decide to go with shared web hosting and not dedicated web hosting. Shared web hosting is considered a better alternative to free hosting and is not too expensive. And because it is a cheap form of hosting, it doesn’t come without its pitfalls and disadvantages. These could ultimately affect how you site grows in the future. Some of the drawbacks are pointed out below.
Reliability issues is a big point to bear in mind. Web hosting that is shared is not always considered reliable. The main reason for this is the sheer number of sites hosted on the same server, each using up a portion of the resources. It is this division of resources that can affect reliability.
You also have to think about issues with upgrading. Is the extra money you are paying for upgrading guaranteeing the services offered, whether you are upgrading from free web hosting to shared, or shared web hosting to dedicated? What guarantees do you have?
Another thing to look out for would be web host providers pertaining to offer an x amount of add-on domains. This is not to say all shared web hosts don’t deliver on what they offer, but some struggle to give you even a percentage of the add-on domains they promise. Technical support can also be an issue with some hosts. Or rather, lack of proper technical support. Most shared web hosts have great tech support, but again, some don’t.
If you have a web site then you need to choose the best web hosting by pixelinternet, whether this is zen cart web hosting or cube cart web hosting you must make sure that you choose a top notch and reliable hosting business.

Getting Hoards of Targeted Traffic
October 28th, 2009
Some people sell products from other website owners while others sell products and services that they offer. Regardless of what your online business model is, we need to drive tons of traffic to our website. You don’t just want any traffic - what you want is targeted and buying visitors.
In the early days of my internet marketing career, I learned about many techniques on traffic generation. Some of the software or services that I bought did me no good.
Listed below are the three traffic generation techniques that I found most effective:
* Placement of Links
Linking can be by either paid or unpaid methods. Adding links in e-zines or in other websites are some examples of paid linking methods. Make sure you need the traffic from that source before buying advertising space to make the most out of your money. In most cases, if ezines are accepting advertising, you know they must have at least 500+ subscribers, or I should say, be sure that they have at least 500+ subscribers before advertising in their ezine.
Creating articles is one way of placing links for free . This requires hard work on your part, but the return will be seen in the long term. Keep in mind, your articles should be relevant and address the subject matter of your site and products.
* Pay-Per-Click
If you have some advertising budget, it makes sense to put it in pay per click. Here you create an ad or ads relevant to your affiliate program, and place a bid on the keywords you select. This method can be quite tedious but there are software programs to help you like the ones used in the google secret loophole program. I would advise that you read your affiliate programs and pay per click rules before doing pay per click.
* Website Optimization
This involves targeting a particular keyword and optimizing your website for that particular keyword. Although you get free traffic with SEO, optimizing your website can be time consuming.
These are traffic generation tactics that are the most effective.

How To DRAMATICALLY Increase Your Traffic
September 15th, 2009
Dramatically Increase Your Traffic
My intention here isn’t to hype you up and drive you to another website, I want to give you some fast, quick tips on how to increase your traffic immediately using video and article promotion strategies. What I’m about to share with you is a four step website promotion strategy that I use to get ridiculous amounts of visitors to my websites. What I’m going to encourage you to do is to run through the whole strategy once per day. If, however you are strapped for time, this can be scaled back to once every seven days. Ok, so here goes:
1. The first step is to create a piece of educational content. It doesn’t have to be the best content in the world, it just needs to be useful and educational in nature. It’s funny, but about a fifth of everything you create will give you more than 80% of your traffic. Some of the gurus out there try and only write content that is going to be part of the 80%, but it just doesn’t happen. Just focus on creating LOTS of content and deal with the ratios. Videos work this way too. Just create something with some valuable information in your niche, and put it on a website. You might put it on an article network, your personal blog, or a video sharing network.
2. In step two, you make a video and simply announce your article, then you broadcast the video to as many video sharing sites as you can. I like video marketing because it’s easy to do, they get picked up by the search engines faster than anything else around, and it gets you traffic ridiculously fast. Confused? All you’ve got to do is sit in front of a camera and talk about how cool your new article is. I use a simple service called Traffic Geyser to promote my videos online, because it’s easy to use and it’s the best service like this that exists. When you send your videos out to the sites, point the links back to your original piece of content. You can also use a free program called TubeMogul, but it isn’t nearly as effective as Traffic Geyser is.
3. In the third step, you just write an original, short article and you broadcast it to the article directories, pointing the article back to your original content. I like articles because they rank really well in the search engines and they get you long term, residual traffic if you use them consistently. Articles also have a cool side effect of making you appear as the expert in your specific niche. You’ve just got to keep using them. I use automated software to promote your articles.
4. Do it every day. Look, this system will work well for you if you follow it consistently over time. Honestly, even if your articles stink and your videos are second class, it will still work. The funny thing is, this will still work even if your content isn’t the best in the cyber universe. (Of course, it will work much better if they’re killer). You need to work the strategy consistently to see long term results, and I encourage you to do it over the next 100 days.
Why should you keep it up over the next 100 days? It’s simple, because if you do what I just mentioned for the next 100 days, you’ll have so much traffic, links to your site, and leads coming through whatever system that you use, that you’ll flip out with excitement. (It works that well). Stick with it my friends and I’ll see you at the top of the search engines.

Article Directories Can Be Great For Link Building
September 8th, 2009
Using an article directory to market your articles is a great way to get backlinks and additionally market your brand and image. One thing you do not want to do is to spam a bunch of poorly written articles all over the net, or articles that make no sense but have backlinks to your site. This usually backfires in the long run, and makes anyone reading it far far less likely to ever click on the link and visit your site.No clickthu leads to no conversions for anything you might be trying to accomplish.
Make sure you write and submit a quality article, because most article directories have manual screening methods to filter out junk that is not up to speed. This results in a ton of spam and junk getting rejected - and your article too, if you do not take care when writing it. Keep in mind the target audience for your article for each article directory and it will help you write it in the best manner.
You should have a list of five to seven article directories to submit to for each article you write. In addition, if you get some software to assist you, you can spin each article into maybe 10 individual articles that are uniquely different and get more mileage out of each article. Basically “spinning” allows a computer to substitute sentences on output so it might have an A, a B and a C choice for each sentence. It mixes and matches randomly.
The more articles you write, the more backlinks you will get to your site. In addition, the quality article directories will have decent page rankings which is always a big help in and of itself. Some article directories have become a hub for other sites looking for content - this is an added bonus to using them.

The Most Important Part of Internet Marketing
August 29th, 2009
When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?
For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.
At its core, internet marketing is about these things:
* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads
Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.
My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.
My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers - as we do - and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.
However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.
Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.
While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.

Web design on a budget… the beginners guide
August 29th, 2009
If you are a small business then there are certain featuresthat you should be looking out for in budget Web design? You need to be able to find a website designer who is willing to construct you a website that you need for a reasonable amount of money. Many of the more unsavory website designers will tell you that in order to make an impact on Google you will need a gigantic website. I know that this is not true because I have been involved with many pocket-sized websites over my years which have made huge impacts on the Google search engine. Magnitude is not the thing here, it is always going to be quality. Any budget Web design should include a few pages of no strings attached quality content. The focus of this feature is going to be about telling you why.
The reasons for having a web location for any company are fairly wide-ranging. A company can display all day different products by showing an online prospectus where they can also show the available prices. Another reason is that customer care department sales departments can use the information which is compiled from customers. The professionalism and quality of the websites that are symbolizing your firm should always be maintained. Your website is the first taste that your customer has concerning your business so you must make sure that this impression is a good one. Fantastic affordable web design is absolutely vital.
Affordable Web design is a configuration of business which covers not only very basic and cheap website mostly consisting of just a couple of pages, but also those websites which cost a few thousand dollars. There is a big market for affordable websites, or budget websites, because the high end of the spectrum of website designers can reach into hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions of dollars. The same elementary principle is always there. The website has to do what it has set out to get done, no more no less, and quality always must be produced. There should also be a provision made for future business enlargement .

ASP Web Hosting and What it’s all About
June 27th, 2009
The web hosting companies that provide for the web hosting needs of ASP (Active Server Page) that have been developed by Microsoft, is called ASP web hosting.Webmasters tend to embed ASP codes in their website’s HTML web pages when they intend to create a dynamic website.
The specialty or benefit of sites that are developed using ASP is that by embedding ASP in your site’s HTML web pages, you manage to create a dynamic data driven website. These pages having ASP embedded in them tend to change whenever the user’s actions changes.
With an ASP code in your web pages, it is possible for you to link your web pages to a database. By adding ASP code to your website, users will be able to easily interact with the web page just by logging into it and using their personal settings for web pages. This feature makes it possible for users to place orders on their website if and whenever they want.
If you have ASP in your web pages, you will need special type of web hosting. This is because such pages have to have their embedded ASP scripts processed on the server before any page is sent to the user.
To start your search for ASP web hosting, you will have to find a host that will be able to host your website on a Windows 2000 or 2003 server. It is better to host your ASP pages on a Windows server as they are quite stable. It is found that most of the ASP components tend to work with IIS (Internet Information Services), which is specific to Windows.
Your ASP web host has to be chosen based on the fact if it can provide support for the type of database you use on your website. The best thing to do would be to use the help of web hosting directories to find the best ASP web hosting for your website.
